What this website collects

Nothing automatically. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no tracking cookie on any page. Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, page requested, time, browser — which we use to keep the site running and secure, and which are deleted on a rolling basis.

The contact form

The form on our contact page does not post to a server. It opens your own email client with the details filled in, so nothing leaves your device until you press send. Once you do, we hold your name, email, company, phone number and message so we can reply and, if you become a client, so we can do the work.

The calculator

The ROI and savings calculator runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are never transmitted to us. Your currency choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the page remembers it next time — that is stored on your device, not ours, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Our lawful basis

For enquiries, legitimate interests: you asked us a question and we are answering it. For client work, performance of a contract. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us something.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts, plus the period our accountants and insurers require.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@clever-it.devand we will deal with it within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Data controller

The registered entity, company number and address will be published here once the trading entity is confirmed. Until then, privacy requests go to hello@clever-it.dev.
